Kathleen Kovach

Along with my DJ/Swing Dance husband, Jerry Kovach, we have many years of dancing experience between us. I taught for a major dance studio franchise for several years, as well as private lessons and group classes at various venues around the tri-state area.

My husband, Jerry, started the Steel City Boogie Club back in 1996 which holds dances twice a month along with special events...one of which is "BOOGIE IN THE BURGH", held annually at the end of March. Jerry is the Director and Chair person for this event...a four day dance party held at the Embasy Suites Hotel. It is known throughout the dance community as one of the best dance parties of it's kind in the country.

DJ Jerry also holds a weekly swing dance, known as FOUNTAIN ROOM FRIDAYS, at the Elks Club in Turtle Creek, PA. Open to the public, he plays great blues, R&B, oldies, beach, ballads and more...great music for all types of swing...east & west coast...shag, jitterbug, cha cha.
