have been physically active in most sports over the course of 52 years. Swam competitively as a kid as well as playing baseball. Cross country skiing became my favorite past time while living in the Bavarian Alps back in the 70's. I start racing after the first year and got hooked on it. Continued to race and teach when I moved to Colorado after my return to the US in 1978.
