Sadie Hernandez

Hello, my name is Sadie Hernandez! I currently attend The University of Texas at Arlington as a music education major. I have played bass trombone for the UT Arlington Symphonic Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, Jazz Ensemble, Jazz Orchestra, Jazz Combo, Maverick Marching Band, and MavBrass Basketball Band. I also play tenor trombone and have marched baritone in the Maverick Marching Band. I'm a dedicated student that loves nothing more than teaching! I have been giving trombone lessons for six years and low brass lessons for the past three years. I cover all areas such as basic fundamentals to advanced techniques; classical to jazz! The student will develop as a musician and improve tremendously through personal lessons that are designed to find the perfect practice that works for their individual style of learning. My philosophy is to teach the student proper fundamentals and habits so that they develop not only in their lesson, but when they choose to practice on their own.
