I have been playing professionally and teaching for 18 years. As a graduate of the Atlanta Institute of Music (1991), I have studied under Russ Rodgers, Randy Hoexter, and Jimmy Herring.


I have performed, written, and recorded on major record releases for Columbia, House of Blues, and Alligator records. In 2010, I won a Grammy with The Derek Trucks Band for "Best Contemporary Blues Album". I am experienced in many genres of music and have been touring and performing on an average of 150 days a year.
