I'm a mother of 4 married to a retired Air Force man for over 23 years. We have recently moved back to Tennessee (where my husband is from) to settle down for retirement. I do have a mechanical background, medical background and marketing sales background as I have done many jobs over the past 20 years - jack of all trades. For the past 4 years I have been working my dream job in a quilt shop! I've been quilting for over 18 years. I've been an active quilter online with swaps and various groups as quilting has evolved, for the past 10 years. My experience comes from many self taught struggles and lessons from some of the industry's best instructors. Visit http://quiltingpirate.blogspot.com to see my personal quilting adventures.

"I have come to know Toni through Gina's in Knoxville, TN as one of her students. I appreciate her knowledge and experience. She has shared some of her quilts with us and she does beautiful work. She has a wide range of interests that seem to come into her quilting experiences. She knows fabrics, colors, threads, notions, techniques, sewing machines, and embroidery techniques. She is laid back and easily approachable. Her directions are easily followed. It is very obvious that she is eager to teach and share her love of quilting with others. She is a patient teacher and doesn't hesitate to make sure you understand something before moving on. She is full of tips and tricks in how to make quilts. She starts at the most beginning of basics for the novice and for a more experienced quilter or sewer I am sure she has great advice."

"In the past year, Toni (TLC Quilting) has done wonderful sewing services for our company. Her experience and knowledge is top notch! The quilt tops are beautiful. Talent is the first word to come to mind when describing her sewing work."
