I am a homeschooling mom of 4 with many passions. I began sewing 25 years ago, started crocheting younger than that, and earnestly began knitting about 10 years ago. I own an online women's clothing shop called Callidora's. I make my own patterns and designs. I love teaching people these 'forgotten' skills! Handwork can provide stress relief, and the satisfaction of holding and using an item you made yourself just can't be put into words. Cooking has also been another passion of mine, which began with Gourmet Foods class in high school. After several nutrition classes in college, I began looking closely at healthy lifestyle changes to improve my energy and maintain overall wellness. Food can be the ultimate healer - even reversing some chronic illnesses. Attend one of my wellness workshops to learn about paleo and primal plans, and how GMOs affect your overall health. After that informational session, take one of my cooking or baking classes to learn how to optimize your meals.

"Terri taught me how to knit about five or six years ago, beginning with casting on. She patiently showed and re-showed me the nuances of knitting, of reading patterns and following them, and of starting and finishing a piece, including blocking a garment. I took a separate class from her in which she taught me how to knit lace and cables, and this really set me free to get into some beautiful patterns. She taught me about yarns and needles, about gauge and fit. I learned so much from her in such a short time. She was patient, imparted information beautifully, and met me where I was at in my learning. I'd recommend her in a heartbeat to anyone seeking a knitting instructor! I learned so much from her that I am even teaching beginning knitting to a few people. She's awesome."

"I had all but given up on knitting. While my mother had taught me some basics, I always felt not quite the mom for not knowing how to knit and make super swell snuggly things for my kiddies. A local group was offering one of Terri's knitting classes and decided this would be the last time I would try and was prepared to hang up the needles for good. The great news was that I didn't need to. This last Christmas all of my family received special knit gifts, my children are all sporting hand knit items I made for them. This class was such a huge leap in teaching me the basics and instilling confidence that I signed up for one of her more advanced classes and now I feel unstoppable! Can't recommend her high enough!"
