  "Dorothy Snyder is the best person I have ever encountered for learning Spanish. Her classes both in video conference and in person are the quickest way out there for understanding the language. I had problems in pronunciation and sentence structure but mostly with grammar. Dorothy apparently has thought through every aspect of this beautiful language of Spanish and translated it's secrets into easily understood lessons. Dorothy's classes brought me to the solutions for each of my problems and mis understandings more quickly than I ever expected."

  "I have taken Dorothy's class both in person (for 3 months) and subsequently via Video Conference (for almost a year). When I began, I knew some very rudimentary basics and could construct maybe 2-3 word sentences. By the end of the year, I could use simple past, present and future tenses (almost correctly, but that's mostly because I didn't put in as much practice as I should have). We would speak mostly in Spanish during the class unless the concepts got very tricky in which case Dorothy was not pedantic about briefly switching to English to explain. Homework exercises were fun too - in addition to some textbook exercises, I got to watch Spanish videos, listen to Spanish language programming, and write some simple "essays". Overall, Dorothy is very patient, knowledgeable and flexible. I would wholeheartedly recommend her for anyone looking to learn or improve their Spanish speaking skills!"
