Sophia Yurina

Sophia is currently enjoying teaching her students as well as auditioning and working in YMCA as well as private teaching. She successfully finished her Master’s degree from Longy Conservatory. Her talent and energy has helped her overcome many obstacles and pursue her career of music with passion. It was Sophia's family who determined her future as a musician as they discovered her talent for music when she was younger. Her mother is an award-winning pianist, as well as her aunt who played in the Bolshoi Theater on the violin. With the help and encouragement from her grandmother, Sophia started her first lesson at age 6 and continued learning violin, piano, music theory, and dance. A year later, she had the opportunity to be on national television to showcase her talents of music. As a full time student, she continued her performance throughout the years.
