I took my first guitar lesson in 6th grade. I remember my teacher smoked a pipe, yelled alot, and didn't really seem to know how to play the guitar. Well, there's three things that a guitar teacher should make sure doesn't happen in their lessons!
I like it when lessons are fun. We work on what you want to learn and you will be greater then you ever imagined.

"My son, Parker, has been taking lessons with Skip for almost two years now. He has learned a great deal and absolutely loves playing and loves his teacher. Skip has the gift of bringing out the best in Parker and really gets him excited about playing guitar."

"Skip has been with me for over 10 years and has worked on everything from jazz to classical to finger-style acoustic to the style of Jimi Hendirx with me. Skip has been patient, but persistent and has helped me grow to the guitarist I am today! He made the lessons fun and always made me want to go home and practice! Skip is the only instructor that I have ever taken with and I will continue to do so for as long as I can!"

"I got Skip as a teacher originally because the Norwich Music center is convenient to my work place. Now I would drive the hour to Norwich just to keep him. He is patient, encouraging and genuinely gets excited about whatever piece you are working on. I have had many lessons as a flutist since a child and now as an adult feel I can evaluate good teaching. Some people teach wll or are good at what they do. Skip is both a great musician and a great teacher. "
