Katie Bender

Catherine has studied and performed flute for seventeen years. She received a BA in Music from Goshen College in 2006 and a Master's in Woodwind Performance from the University of Washington in 2008. Past teachers include Alicia Suarez, Rebecca Hovan, Sarah Bassingthwaite, and Donna Shin. Catherine has traveled extensively and spent a year studying under Mario Caroli, international soloist and professor at the Conservatoire de Strasbourg. Catherine has also studied piano for nine years.
