"I have had many major surgeries. Most of the recoveries involved physical therapy and exercise. Yoga was an integral part of my recovery from a second heart surgery and Sandi guided me from the beginning when I could barely walk. The depth of her knowledge of anatomy and physiology is expert; her analytical ability yoked with her strong intuition has resulted in precise insights that have allowed me to recover better than I ever did when I was much younger. With Sandi's guidance I have developed a yoga practice that has helped heal both my hearts. I return to her as a teacher because she's the best. OK I'm a bit biased but I've been in her classes and seen an entire class react with deeply felt appreciation just as I have; after an hour of instruction! Her compassion is the foundation of her teaching. "

"I am retired and making exercise a priority each day. But I thought I wasn't slim and flexible enough for yoga. After two months with Sandi's gentle yoga class I realize I have eveything I need to bring a yoga practice into my life in a meaningful way: breath and a body...and a wonderful teacher. Sandi has a fabulous sense of humor, is kind, and is very present to her students. I am happy to feel more steady, balanced, and centered, even if my "down dog" is not really down. "Sandi is a perceptive and patient teacher. I am a younger student of hers, but I underwent knee surgery about 7 months ago and I feel completely secure practicing with Sandi because I know she is always conscious of my injury. She goes out of her way to make everyone feel secure in their yoga practice, no matter what previous injuries they have suffered or current injuries they are working through. Sandi's classes are also a wonderful learning experience; she does not just teach basic yoga methods, she teaches people how to handle their bodies with care and cognizance in everyday situations. Her class also includes free jokes;) I would highly recommend Sandi for novices and yogis alike!"

"I never thought I could do Yoga. I have crappy knees and a bad back. I tried a regular yoga class one time and felt it was mission impossible for me.Do you seriously think I could possibly do the pretzel? Then I heard about Sandi's gentle Yoga class from a friend. I was skeptical after my last experience but Sandi did a thorough consultation about my challenges and explained it all to me. All I had to do was show up. During the class she checks in on everyone the entire time to help with any discomfort, readjust position, explain what each pose was and how it helped our bodies. I have been working out for about two years and just hurt all the time. I actually got relief from doing Yoga and instead of feeling like I need to swim in epsom salts Im so relaxed and stretched I just want to take a long nap...Now when I miss a class Im miserable and can't wait to get to the next one, and the hugs are free! "

"After thinking about trying a yoga class for 12 years I finally started with Sandi's class. I love that she asks each student individually if they have any body issues or areas that need attention. She gives modification options and really makes you feel relaxed and comfortable. I am very glad to have Sandi as a teacher and would recommend her highly no matter your experience level."

"Sandi is a true professional in her field. It is evident that she is very knowledgeable, but the same time she has never let me (a novice in the field of yoga) feel embarrassed or self conscience. She is encouraging at all times and gently inspires me to improve and set goals. She is extremely patient; having to repeat, re-explain, re-demonstrate even the most basic yoga positions.
