"A couple years after having gastric bypass surgery I found myself starting to gain weight. I had watched as so many I knew that had the surgery began to regain and didn't want that, I had been through to much to go back to being at a very unhealthy weight. Believe me when I say carrying weight, (I was close to 300#) can reek havoc on your body. I would freely say "I am a healthy fat girl," boy was I wrong.
A year ago a friend, who I had watched transform into such a healthy and fit person, had told me that she had been doing a boot camp at Rocbody Fitness. She kept telling me I should at least try it out and what could I say? If I truly wanted to be healthy I had to change.
The first class I attended in my mind I thought "Oh my....I can't do this" but I was so wrong. I had been to fitness classes over they years that made me feel inadequate and if I couldn't keep up with the rest of the class, they might as well have kicked me out because telling me that I had to keep up did not encourage me to come back. When this didn't happen and I was told to challenge my fitness level and not to try to do what those who had been doing this for a while were doing, I was shocked! Working with me and showing me how to correct so many of the bad everyday habits I had, Shelly gave me so much encouragement and teaching that within a month I began feeling stronger. A year later I am still taking the classes and even though I am no way near keeping up with the girls that range from 7 to 30 years younger than I am, I am just as encouraged as I was at day one. I am 53 years old and am at the best fitness level I have ever been in my lifetime.
So if you are wanting to feel better, inside and out, they don't come any better than Rochelle (Shelly) Vilar. She is one in a million!

"I have been excerising for the past 35 years from several instructors and the last one being Shelly (also the best one). It is never to late to get your body in shape, develope muscles, have solid abs and a tight butt, not to mention your cardiovascular system. I am going on 68 years old and feel great, I would recommend Rocbody Fitness to anyone who cares about their body and health. I take the Zumba classes, core toning and personal trainning. Try it once and you will never stop going. Shelly is the greatest!

"I have been going to ROCBODY Fitness Studio for over a year and a half now and have been taking the Boot Camp sessions and Kickboxing. They are great!! "Hi, I tried the Zumba class at Rocbody Fitness with Rochelle Vilar and instantly knew I would be back very soon. Rochelle has a way of getting the party started as soon as you get on the floor. Her bubbly personality along with her strength, energy and command of the room is intoxicating.
You just want to move! That's just it, no need to be perfect everyone in class is doing the best they can and it's ok. Rochelle keeps everyone moving to new and exciting Zumba moves and songs. "Rochelle is a high energy instructor. She keeps you moving the entire time but does not make you feel as though you are not accomplishing anything if you have to slow your pace. She keeps the workouts changing so you do not get bored from class to class. It is well worth the time to attend her class. I wish I could get back into it.

"It would be an understatement to classify Rochelle (Shelly) as conscientious of her class participants. She not only cares about your form and posture, she cares about your well-being. Each class has an individualized feel. Shelly makes sure you get the most ‘bang for your buck’ and would probably teach classes for free if she could. She honestly wants everyone to live the healthiest life possible. The Core class is a great mixture of various types of strength training to tone you physically and improve your mental well-being. Shelly does a fantastic job making sure everyone is comforable in the class and welcomes questions/suggestions. If my schedule allowed, I would attend every class she put on the schedule."
