I am a flutist, performer-teacher, in the South Florida area with a DMA in flute performance from the University of Miami. I have had considerable experience teaching concert flute, piccolo, and baroque flute. My doctoral essay, "A Description and Application of Robert Aitken's Concept of the Physical Flute," describes a means of playing the flute based on principles of acoustics and physics. I use these principles in my teaching and performance to make flute playing joyous! :-)
