  "After turning to Craigslist for makeup artists who could help me out on short notice (and getting too many replies from wannabes who didn't actually have their own makeup or brushes), I found PNiny. Not only did she have her own supplies, like any good makeup artist should, she was able to come to me. Although I didn't need it, she even offered to help with my hair! Prior to our appointment, I sent her pictures of me and the dress I would be wearing to my event via email and we discussed the over-the-top look I was going for. She arrived early for our appointment and prepared to get to work. As she did my makeup, I revealed that I'm a total amateur, so she gave me some crucial tips. Along the way, we learned that the look I was going for wouldn't look good with my eyes, so we had to abort. She came up with a different, equally purple-centric look that still turned out amazing. Not only are her makeup skills top notch, she is friendly, fun and accepting. The accepting part was crucial. I'm a drag queen. Not one of the flamboyant, confident drag queens you see on tv, but a shy, one-foot-barely-out-of-the-closet sort of drag queen. And, of course, drag queens have unique needs when it comes to makeup. In other words, the natural look is out. She knew just what to do to make me look beautiful. In the end, she did help me with my wig and didn't let me step outside until my dress was on right. She did such a good job that people were coming up to me all evening telling me how great I looked. It was awesome. She rules."

  "I hired PNiny for my senior prom. She did my hair and make up very efficiently. We spent very little of the time figuring out what I wanted done because like an artist, she quickly created a great idea of what I wanted in her head. My hair turned out perfect, exactly what I had hoped for, and my make up was phenomenal. While she was doing all of this she was always very respectful and friendly. I even asked her to change my hair once just to see if I liked it another way and she didn't mind at all. Once I was all done my friends came over and we were getting ready to leave when PNiny noticed that one of my friend's hair was uncurling. She even fixed that! I was so impressed. My friend went to Ulta to get her hair and make up done and spent much more there and they didn't even curl her hair right. I'm so glad I found PNiny!!"
