Nyshia Cook

Nyshia Cook is an energetic competition and recital Instructor. An accomplished pianist and singer herself, she has participated in many musical theater projects, Operas, and Church Choirs. She maintains professional memberships to Piano Teachers Guild, Charlotte Piano Teacher Forum, National Federation of Music and NATS. Nyshia continues training through work with some of the most prestigious schools throughout the country Berklee Music School, North Carolina School of the Arts, and Private Instruction from nationally known master Instructors. She is a well sought after judge for many talent competitions, and local recording studios as a vocal coach.


Her former students have performed in concerts and on tour with many celebrities such as Shirley Creaser, Fantasia, and Jodeci just to name a few. She has also had many students go on to accompany for church, audition for Broadway, local talent shows, as well as professional recording studio work.


Nyshia has been apart of many studio sessions as a songwriter, background singer, and lead vocalist she is often requested to take part as a vocal coach for many recording sessions.
