I have a passion for living a healthy lifestyle and teaching others how to do so. Cooking (especially white flour/sugar-free recipes), baking homemade whole grain sourdough breads, cycling, teaching yoga, and traveling are some of my hobbies. Currently I'm pursuing a MS in nutrition and an MPH from University of California, Davis. My background includes certfications in nutritional counseling, yoga, Pilates, Wellness Coaching (Wellcoaches), massage therapy, clinical hypnotherapy, and neuro-linguistic programming.
For the past 10 years I've worked in health in wellness in many capacities. Above all, my work has always included empowering women to seek the behaviors and attitudes that help them find a weight they want, a body they can love, and an inner-attitude that is self supporting. My approach is creative, fun, integrative, and is all about making lasting behavior change. Wellness coaching for weight loss or nutritional change is all about helping my clients uncover their deep motivations for change, designing the process of change, and taking it step by step.
