Noel Hernandez is a classically trained guitarist who wrote his first orchestra at the age of 17 and was performing at Boettcher Hall by the age of 18. He has been independently teaching for 17 years, and he also taught for Denver Public Schools for 7 years. Noel has twice been featured in the Rocky Mountain News as the talent showcase. He is also endorsed by Blade Guitars. His bands have been played on The Mountain, KBCO, KBPI, and KSAM. He has opened for George Clinton, Wendy Woo and others, too numerous to list. Noel has also written six books for guitar. His biggest concern is making sure his students have fun. Bring in an mp3 or CD of your favorite songs, and he will write them out, teach them to you, then show you how the music theory/ear training applies to the style of music you love.
