From Indiana and a graduate of IU! Married to a sailor and new to Virginia! When I lived in Florida I taught graphic design and web design for several years including computer basics to adults in the evenings. Since then I have been an instructor and director at the nation's # 1 tech/computer camp the past two summers. I enjoy sports & hiking but when I have to be inside I am quilting, crocheting, knitting, rug hooking or on the computer! I have been a fiber crafter since 1996.

"I learned how to Crochet with Micki. She made, what I thought was a hard skill, simple to learn. I did a scarf on my first attempt with Micki and now just 2 weeks later I'm on my way to completing a Full size throw blanket. This skill keeps me from getting board and snacking at night. You can learn how to Crochet and loose weight:) Micki was a great teacher and a fun person to spend time with. I highly reccomend her as a teacher."

"I was nervous about learning to crochet because I can't even sew a button, but Micki was very patient with me, and showed me how to crochet in one lesson! she brought different types of yarn and showed when to use them, multiple projects to show what can be done, and explained the differences in crochet hooks. Micki is very knowledgeable, and was able to answer all of my questions; I plan on taking more lessons to continue to learn more from her. "
