  "Mike is always on the lookout for ways to make his teaching more effective for his students. He both demonstrates and talks through techniques in order to make sure all learning styles are supported. He clearly has outstanding skill and loves what he does. He's not above playing a simple piece right along side me if I'm struggling with it (which happens regularly). I can't imagine a more patient and effective beginning piano teacher than Mike. "
