Michelle G. received a Bachelor of Music Degree in Flute and Conducting at the University of Minnesota. where she studied flute with Immanuel Davis and conducting with Jerry Luckhardt. She is currently pursuing her Master of Music Degree at Rutgers University. Her flute teachers have included Leslie Short, David Gerry, AnneMarie Dawson and Immanuel Davis. Ms. G. has performed in masterclasses for master teachers including Keith Underwood, Bradley Garner, Tadeo Coelho, Gary Schocker, Leone Buyse, and Trudy Kane. Michelle has twice won the South Bend Symphony Young Artist Competition, including a solo performance with the symphony in March 2006. Michelle participated in the NFA National HS Flute Choir twice, the ASTA National High School Honors Orchestra, and the Indiana All State Orchestra. An avid chamber musician, Ms. G. won the Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition 2008 Kenneth Geoffroy Memorial Award as a member of the Zenith Quartet.
