"Megan was my flute teacher for I believe 5 or 6 years, and during that time period I couldn't have asked for someone better to guide me through learning how to play that crazy contraption we call the flute. Coming to her for the first lesson I was nervous, being that I had never played a not on this instrument in my life, but she helped me go above and beyond and when middle school came, I was completely exceeding all of my peers, and skipped beginner band completely. Not only did she help me skip beginner band, but she helped me achieve the position of first chair in the secod band and the following years become first chair in symphonic band. She also helped me be a part of a flute choir at flute fair, and all county band. As you can see, not only her amazingly precocious flute skills, but also her yearn and love to teach everything and every part of the flute is what allowed me to me successful as a student but her to be a beyond what you would expect as a teacher and as a person. Not once was I yelled at for hitting a wrong note, and even if I did get reprimanded a little for not practicing my scales as much as I should have, it was never in a demeaning manner. Megan is a gracious human being who will do anything for her students to excell at the flute, and will do it in a way as to never bore you. She is one of the nicest people I have ever met and her yearn to spread the wonders of the flute is unprecedented. "
