Two [potentially unrelated] questions:
1. Are you looking to jump-start your career and find a job?
2. Do you want to learn how to sing beautifully in a variety of styles?

To this point, I've had a fairly unusual career journey, and I offer two different private sessions to clients either seeking career coaching/counseling, or to learn how to sing beautifully. After spending a few years as a classical singer, I am now a professional Career Counselor at Valparaiso University (where he is also part-time faculty in the music department). I'm also finishing a second Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
I know first-hand what it's like to reinvent your career, having made a very major transition from performing arts to human services myself. I keep a busy schedule, as a full-time career development professional and part-time singer and voice instructor, and I love every minute of it.

"First and foremost, I must say that I really enjoy working with Matt. I think he is an amazing instructor. He is very personable and non-intimidating. His expertise is top notch! I have learned so much and feel as though I am making great strides in the way that I sing. Before taking lessons with Matt, I felt as though my voice was a big mystery. I would inhale and hope and pray that the right sounds would come out. Now I know how to carry my body and place my voice so that I can control what comes out. Another thing that I personally liked was that he was patient with me. I was very shy during the first few lessons, but he made the environment really comfortable; which I think is very important. He is also very accommodating with scheduling lessons. I’m not always able to take lessons at the same time/day each week, and with his flexibility, this was never an issue.
