Marissa Simmons

Simmons is currently studying Classical Vocal Performance and Music Composition at the University of Miami's Frost School of Music. She is an emerging operatic mezzo-soprano and composer. She has performed as Cenerentola in La Cenerentola, Lucretia in The Rape of Lucretia, La Natura in La Calisto, and La Maestra delle Novizie in Suor Angelica. Some of her works have been performed by groups such as members of the Cleveland Symphony, Adlai E. Stevenson High School's Patriot Orchestra and female a cappella group, University of Miami's Symphonic Choir, and many other wonderful performers. Simmons has also performed as a soloist with the SHS Patriot Orchestra.
