As a Broadway, Symphonic, Opera, Solo, and Chamber Music performer of violin and viola, I have helped students develop practice and performance skills for over 13 years. I draw from a variety of teaching methods, and tailor my approach to merge with each student's individual learning style and musical interests. I teach because I love to help students discover why making music on a chosen instrument will bring a lifetime of fulfillment.

"Susan taught our daughter (Jena) violin from middle school thru high school. Jena moved to Purdue University where she played in their symphony orchestra and official quartet all 4 years. Jenas' years with Susan prepared her well and instilled great confidence thru performance. Susan was an inspiration as a role model in addition to her exceptional performance skills. It has been 12 years now and Susan has since earned a Masters' degree from University of Michigan and has many professional performances to her credit. Susan is world class!"
