  I was honored to be chosen by a friend, truly of all trades, Jake, who offered to practice his skills of crystal healings (physical, mental, emotional, for old wounds, new wounds, and future good fortune), crystal readings (like tarot), and healing and balancing the 7 layers of the aura on me.
  
  This came at time for me that seemed most beneficial due to some heart ache I was experiencing and I became very eager to participate. Although I am not very familiar with these sorts of practices, this experience has created an interest and desire to being empowered.
  
  We began our session with a questionnaire involving 2 clear quartz crystals that grew side by side in the Earth. I held one, Jake held the other. I asked open ended questions and Jake provided insight to what he could feel through the pair of crystals. I have never in my life felt a rock pulsate the way this one did in my hand. The intensity of questions and answers generated an energy in these rocks that felt unreal. I believe that my intention of wanting clarification and resolution aided in Jake’s responses, also through the connection of the crystals.
  
  I chose to do an aura healing of my 3rd eye and heart. Jake placed a polished clear quartz on my 3rd eye and a polished rose quartz over my heart. At this point, the amount of energy created in the room put me into a trance mediation. Jake did some chanting and I felt as though I drifted off into another realm. I felt very still and at peace, as if I were in shavasana. More than an hour’s time passed and Jake slowly brought me back to physical consciousness. It was a hazy feeling at first, but I felt so blessed and renewed.
  
  We discussed that a lot of my thoughts and feelings weren’t focused enough on myself and my own empowerment. With these healings and insightful suggestions I feel as though I have stepped in the right direction to finding myself on a whole new level."
