Leslie Maltz

I've has been in the fitness industry for over 10 years. In 1996, I began training in Krav Maga, the Israeli fighting system, brought to the United States by Darren Levine, the highest ranked Krav Maga instructor in the United States as well as a Deputy District Attorney for the County of Los Angeles. I studied under Darren Levine's instruction for several years and remain a loyal advocate of the Krav Maga system. In addition to teaching at Krav Maga, I was also instrumental in the development of the KM Kids program, its curriculum and belt system.

After obtaining my Krav Maga Instructor Certification, I continued to receive certifications in kickboxing, aerobics and fitness training through AFAA, N.F.P.T. and N.A.S.M., with a specialty in corrective training, core stabilization, balance and strength training for athletes. In addition to my many personal training certifications, I've has studied life coaching at the Esalen Institute in Big Sur and offers gentle life coaching to my clients to help them overcome obstacles blocking my students' progress.
