10 years ago I went through self realization. I was trying to become a doctor of the mind(not brain). I wanted to end depression. And find a medicine to happiness. I went through a lot of books but could not find the answer strong enough to satisfy me. I was looking for something concrete and straight up. Always wondered on what comes beyond death. Death which comes in just a span of 70 years which is not that much of a time in the present day. i am enlightened today because of Buddhism.
