Katya Vasilaky

Katya Vasilaky was a member of San Francisco Ballet, where she worked under Helgi Tomasson, Mark Morris, and Lar Lubovitch. She trained on a merit scholarship at the School of American Ballet, and was coached by the Kozlovs of the Bolshoi. She later danced with principals of the Graham Company. She picked up ballroom dancing in Russia, and Capoeira in Uganda while earning her Economics PhD. A teacher at DCDC and BTI, she also directs Moveiusdance.
