My name is Karah Pino and I am a Origami teacher in Seattle, WA helping kids learn Math and Science through Creative Play. I also teach Creativity and Stress Reduction to adults.
Kids Love origami! Shhh, don't tell them they are learning Math and Engineering!
I have loved Origami since my first introduction in elementary school. I attribute success in Mathematics to having the ability to play with the principles through origami.
I began teaching Origami as an Art Specialist for elementary aged children in 2000 and have been doing it off and on since then. My classes are vibrantly wild with intense moments of focused instruction giving each student license to follow his or her own creative drive.
