Kamar Al Nur

Kamar Al Nur has been performing Bellydance for than 37+ years. She is renown for her use of props such as veils, circular veils, swords, daggers, fans, veil fans, zils (cymbals), etc. Kamar designs and constructs her personal costumes as well as those of her troupe, Kamar and Jewels of Fire.

Kamar’s teaching styles include American Classic (Cabaret), Turkish Cabaret, Folk, Gypsy/Latin Fusion, Fusion and Fantasy.

Kamar performs in the So Cal area at MECDA's Cairo Carnivale/Cairo Caravan, Orange and LA Co. Fairs, Showcases, Restaurants, Senior Centers, Convalescent homes, Charitable events, Political functions, Weddings and Special Occasions.

Kamar is a multi-award winning performer at the '00, '02 and '05 BDUC held in Long Beach, CA.

Although students get a great workout, Bellydance is indeed a classical dance form and students will also be given history of the dance and costumes.
