  "Julia is a very good teacher, she really knows her stuff and has a great way of explaing things to you so that they stick in your mind. I have had her as a pattern making teacher and a sewing teacher. I started taking group classes (6 students) with Julia last year, which were very good, in the 2 hours of class julia manage to get around to everyone and help us with any questions we had. I have since moved on to private classes with her. I truly love my classses with her . After she shows me how to make something , I have been able to go home and make the same thing on my own at home. I have worn all the the outfits we have made. If you really want to learn how to sew then Julia is the teacher for you!!!! I know she has been great for me. "

  "Julia is amazing! I met her while taking a sew class at a fabric store in New York City. I enjoyed her style of teaching so much that when the 6-week course ended, I asked her for some contact info because I wanted to bring some designs I had in mind to life. She is very cordial, patient, and is very good with her explanations. She teaches in way that promotes students being hands on so that they understand the feel and capabilities of the sewing machine. I've gone to her for sewing advice, to have her make some outfits for me, and to do some repair work. She's is very professional and very kind. I highly recommend her because of her skill level and her ability to connect with her students no matter their sewing level/experience."
