I believe Aikido can help us create a peaceful world by giving society tools to break the cycle of violence one person at a time. I began studying Aikido in 1999 under Fumio Toyoda Shihan. Since 2001 I have been studying under Andrew Sato, 6th dan Aikikai. I received my third degree black belt from Aikikai headquarters Hombu dojo in October 2009. I am expecting to receive my Doctor of Physical Therapy from UIC in May 2012.
