  "Exceptional performers are rarely exceptional, caring instructors. Johnny, however, fulfills all of these categories. I chose Johnny as a teacher because of a trend I observed at the Seattle salsa clubs: Every time a lead's fluidity and grace captured my attention, it turned out that Johnny either was or had been his teacher. I will continue to take lessons from Johnny. He really knows how to both perform and instruct. In the lesson, he is laser-focused on YOU and continually makes enlightening suggestions about every molecule of what you are doing. What's more, he obviously cares a great deal about the outcome. It's more to him than just a source of income. Finally, it certainly doesn't hurt matters that Kristee comes as the co-instructor/follow. She is equally invested in the outcome, an excellent, graceful dancer, and a really good sport ! I have nothing but good things to say about this experience. "
