I have been a Music Educator since 1979. It has been very rewarding to see students develop their talents and transfer learned skills to their areas of interest. After developing an overuse injury from years of conducting, flute/piano playing, and colorguard coaching, I found myself going another direction. Through physical therapy and Feldenkrais lessons I was able to rehabilitate the injured area. There was a Feldenkrais Training available through Movement Educators the following year in which I enrolled and completed in 4 years. Through this educational process I was able to rethink the way that students are taught to play an instrument and how students could avoid overuse injuries themselves. Feldenkrais has been an exciting new addition to my teaching repertoire. It's great for anyone who wants to learn.

"I started with Johanna when she was still finishing her Feldenkrais certification. I'd had the Feldenkrais lessons before (in Missouri & Florida) and I knew how wonderful this method is.
