I'm a musician and a mathematician. I've been offering lessons in both disciplines for several years now, and although utilizing these skills for myself is certainly enjoyable, I find just as much enjoyment in helping others with them! My approaches toward math and voice are actually pretty similar: first master the fundamentals. Only then can the student can start to have fun with the subject, and feel the opportunity as well as the ability to apply creative license! (Yes, math is creative!)
