40 YEARS OLD AND I'M A PROFESSIONAL ATHLETE. SKATEBOARDING & PING PONG. SUPER POSITIVE AND PATIENT. UNDER THE WING OF THE BEST HARD BAT PLAYER IN THE WORLD. MARTY REISMAN. I HAVE CHANGED PEOPLES GAME IN 5 MINUTES BY SHOWING THEM THE PROPER SWING/ANGLING AND HOW TO HOLD YOUR PADDLE CORRECTLY!

"Jimmy Pelletier has been my teacher for several years. He teaches an old school hard bat ping pong style, which is very fun to play. We've played at 1011 Arlington Blvd., local community centers, and Comet Ping Pong & Pizza, where you can have the incredible "Jimmy" meatball pizza. Jimmy inspires me and never lets me settle for anything less than my best. He is funny, great with kids, and compassionate while demanding. "

"Jimmy Pelletier has been my teacher for several years. He teaches an old school hard bat style, which is very fun to play. We've played at River Place, local community centers, and Comet Ping Pong & Pizza (where you can have the "Jimmy" an incredible meatball pizza). Jimmy is patient yet demanding, and very knowledgeable of the sport. Overall a great teacher."

"I had the good fortune of making Jimmy's acquaintance and learning table tennis from him almost 5 years ago. Is Jimmy legit? Yes, yes he is. It's important to have a teacher that truly understands the subject at hand. So it certainly doesn't hurt when your teacher is king of every table he steps on and is cohorts with worldwide legend, Marty Reisman. Watch out though, hang out with Jimmy enough and you'll catch the bug. This man loves his pong. You'll often hear of the latest table tennis news, techniques and Jimmy's personal adventures in both the above and below-ground realms of ping-pong. It is this passion that gives Jimmy his insight and adds to his talent for both playing and teaching this wonderful game. This IS the guy you want on your team. Parents, this IS the guy you want for your kid. Jimmy's vast understanding of the game is hard to describe but I'll try. I bet your first time on the table with him goes like this: You've studied and practiced hard, you think you've made some strides, but within a few minutes Jimmy comes around the table, makes a few suggestions and your game suddenly changes. Just like that. Just like in his description. That is Jimmy and that is his breadth of knowledgeable of table tennis and what each individual needs to progress. Even if you think you're past the point of changing your game, Jimmy's got plenty for you too. As a person Jimmy is world-class. He has a gentle, understated way about him with a refined, cool style that makes everyone at home. Instantly, newcomers and old-school seasoned vets will experience confidence with this good fellah. I've seen Jimmy play games that had me hold my breath for every point. And while he does play at that high level, the refreshing part is that he is just as content to help you practice a single aspect of your game or show some new moves to a 10-year-old kid for hours. Unique. A few last things. Ask him about his professional skating career for many interesting stories like all the great traveling and skating he does for charities. Eat the pizza named after him at Comet in DC. Try to pay him double what he's asking even though he'll try to stop you. And oh yeah, be happy! You just found the Real McCoy."
