"We have been most pleased with Jessica Madsen's piano instruction. Our son learned more in six months of instruction with Jessica than in years of classes with other teachers. She was quickly able to assess his strengths and weaknesses, discover where the "knowledge gaps" were, and tailor a course of study to his individual needs. Her program is well structured and comprehensive in scope, yet flexible enough to accommodate students' interests and strengths. Additionally, Jessica's students may participate in The Achievement Program, an option not offered by all piano teachers. This allows them unique opportunites outside of regular class time to "stretch" themselves and fully develop their musical capabilities through participation in concertos and other competitions. Jessica is not only a knowledgeable and talented professional, but a devoted and caring teacher. She truly "goes the extra mile" to ensure that her students succeed. I would highly recommend her services. "

"i earned a bachelor's degree in piano in the 90s, but after about 15 years, i wanted to knock some rust off the skills. i confess that i went in with a bit of arrogance and came out with a set of skills i had never before achieved. Dr. Madsen masterfully blends technical skill with artistry, building on the students' strengths and yet strengthening in all areas. also having observed on some younger, even beginning students, i am very impressed."
