Aspiring Musician, Freelance Designer, Macintosh Aficionado, amatuer blogger, part-time philosopher and poet, Reiki practitioner.
I love everything outdoors, hiking, backpacking, camping, fishing, canoeing, target shooting, ultimate frisbee (surfing when I get back to Mother Maui).
Truly a jack of all trades, I’ve been everything from logger to butcher to Mac Genius. Did a stint in the Army as a weapons technician from ’98-’01. I love to cook.
As much as I abhor clichés and canned, quippy quotes, I have embraced one simple mantra in life:
“All things happen exactly as they should simply because they couldn’t happen any other way, or they would”
Kind of along the lines of Einstien’s famous “there are two ways to see the world (life etc..) that nothing is a miracle, or that everything is a miracle. The choice is yours.”
I much prefer the above mantras to the completely generic, disgustingly over-quoted “everything happens for a reason”. ”Everything happens for a reason” creates instant inner turmoil as the mind spins, twists, turns and somersaults in all directions seeking the ever evasive answer to the unanswerable question that can only generate more questions: “why is this happening?” Whereas the aforementioned mantras create acceptance & peace, as we can only say “yes” to whatever is, anything else is self created suffering. Whereas the simple acknowledgement of whatever you’re experiencing places you in the now and empowers you to create the life you want, as opposed to being a victim of circumstance.
I am a Gemini, Moon rising in Leo on a 3 life path which is creative self expression. I’m the youngest of 5 children and both of my parents were school teachers. I grew up on a Honey (Bee) Farm in West Central Illinois. (www.jbood.wordpress.com)

"My Reiki experience with Jeremy was wonderful!!! I recommend it to everyone! It is very relaxing and a deep feeling of peace came over me. I even fell asleep while I was receiving my healing because I became so relaxed! Reiki helps you focus in life and get a clear head so that you are in a better state of mind to make importand decisions. It also helped me with the summertime blues by clearing out any blocked negative energy that I had inside. Finally Jeremy's Reiki session helped me with some neck pain that I was having due to my stressful career. So overall it just pretty much fixes any problem that you are having and gives you a new outlook on life when you are done! :) I hope everyone contacts Jer today!! "

"My reiki session with Jeremy was so relaxing. I felt an overall sense of well being, and just a glowing radiance flowing through me. Before my session I felt very off balance and like I was just treading water in my life and not really getting anywhere... I was also having a lot of issues with my stomach and digestion. After my session I felt much more level on all planes- physical, emotional, and mental. My stomach issues have improved as well as my eating habits and I no longer feel as though I am going nowhere... instead, I feel content with where I am. Reiki changed my life. "
