I am a recently retired certified teacher with a Master's degree in Education and over 20 years of experience teaching and tutoring adults and children in the areas of Reading, English (ESOL/ESL), Writing, Basic Math, Test Prep (GRE, SAT Verbal, CRCT, ASVAB,etc.,), and special needs. I have taught Special Education, Language Arts, and been an Elementary Reading Specialist and Reading Recovery teacher. In addition, I have tutored both adults and children in a variety of subjects. My strengths as a tutor include my dedication to my students, knowledge of curriculum, and an ability to assess my student's abilities and develop individualized lessons to meet their particular needs.
