I have been performing poetry in front of live audiences from Manhattan to Ann Arbor for the past 2 years. I was a founding member of the Geneseo Slam Poets at my college, and led our team to 5th place on the East Coast. The competitive side of poetry is what keeps me experimenting and improving myself. Hard work and endless trial and error in front of live audiences have rewarded me with vast knowledge on how to compose a poem and embody it on stage.
