Helia Mondou

Helia cares deeply about her students and respects them equally, regardless to their abilities. She was an actress and drama teacher for 15 years and became a belly dancing instructor in 2003. She is about to complete a master degree research in dance teaching focusing on how a holistic point of view (somatic education) inspires her teaching and enhances the benefits of the dance for the participants to her classes: personal growth and global health. Helia has been nicknamed the «Spirited Dancer of the Treasure Coast». Audiences of Florida, Costa Rica, British Columbia, and Quebec have been touched by her Grace and Joy, since 2002, but she claims that teaching is her calling and greatest gift.
