Ever since I was a child I've always been athletic and competitive in nature. Growing up in Orange County, California, I participated in ballet, tap dancing, cross-country, track & field and various other school/recreational sports. In my early adult years I also was a Defensive End for the LA Lasers, a womens professional tackle football team.
I am a mother to a wonderful daughter and stepdaughter. It's important to me and my husband that we make sure our children are active just like we were when we were young. It leads to great experiences and learning in life, and builds a well-rounded individual.
After being in the corporate world for over 10 years, all the while training for various road races, century rides and triathlons, I realized there was still something missing from my life. That's when I made the decision to take my love for fitness into my career. I became certified as a personal trainer through Apex Fitness (APEX), the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), and Equinox Fitness Institute (EFTI). Due to my desire for constant improvement, I also learned various specializations and techniques such as TRX suspension training, Power Plate (advanced, whole body vibration technology), Triathlons (swim/bike/run), Kettlebells, Functional Movement Screens (FMS), and Special Populations (obesity/health/joint problems).
As a former running guide/pace leader for Nike in Los Angeles, previous running coach for Runnergy in Sherman Oaks, and currently the Team Leader for the Moms In Motion Burbank Half Marathon Team, I meticulously plan and coordinate runs for those of all levels. I thoroughly enjoy great success training men, women and children of all ages and leading them to national competitions.
I'm also a fitness instructor for Nestle, Disney, Plus One and my own company, Full of Life Fitness LLC. My strong desire to help others get in shape and stay fit inspires me to proactively train people like you to reach your desired fitness goals.

"Running a half marathon was always something I wanted to accomplish.
Year after year I would resolve to train and run a half but would
always fall short, I either couldn't stick with the training or didn't
know where to even start. So when I saw that Full of Life Fitness was
putting together a running group to train for the Hollywood Half
Marathon, I signed up. Although I wasn't able to make it to many of
the group sessions, Heather's emails kept me on track and kept me
motivated. I stuck to the training schedule she circulated each week
and finally completed that bucket list item that had been nagging at
me for years! Now I want to keep going, with Heather and with
