Omar Avalos Gallegos

I'm a flamenco guitarist, composer and musicologist. I'm an associate music instructor at Santa Ana College since 2001. I have also been a principal musician for the Department of Dance at UC Irvine on and off since 2001. I've been active as a flamenco guitarist in the LA area for nearly 15 years, where I got my start in '98 with Juan Talavera, and I've performed with some of LA's most visible flamencos in LA venues including Alegría, Tapas, Luna Negra and more.
