"I love being a stay at home mom, but sometimes I feel like I am living in yoga pants and a t-shirt. I told Desiree that I want to be comfortable but don't want to sacrifice style. I initially had a wardrobe consultation with her and she gave me a lot of helpful suggestions. We also went shopping, it was so nice to have a professional who knew what styles and colors were best for me. I get so many compliments on the clothing she picked out for me, I am definitely using her services again."

"Being in an industry that requires me to plan functions and events means I must also attend them. The easy part for me is talking to people and socializing. The hard part is figuring out what to wear. Recently I was asked to attend a very important event where I felt a bit over my head. The types of people that I was going to meet were at C level, if you get my drift. No? Well, CEOs to be exact. And not just any CEOs either. These people head some of the biggest and most affluent companies in San Diego. I was nervous.
I was at a complete loss of where to even start on my attire. I was told the dress code was business casual but what lay before me was an unbelievable networking opportunity and a closet that was far from impressive. Desiree with very short notice and the little details I was given on the event took the time to put together a quick and sophisticated outfit for me. Down to the itty bitty details, she told me where to go, what to get and more importantly, what to stay away from. Armed with a plan, I was able to go shopping efficiently. To be honest, it opened my eyes to all of the time I had wasted in my previous shopping excursions. I got in, got what I needed and got out- all with Desiree’s help. Oh, did I mention she did this for me remotely? Well, she did. A personal shopper and fashion savior over the miles.
As soon as I walked into the ballroom with my Desiree Durso duds, I let out a sigh of relief. I was dressed perfectly for the event. I fit right in. I was able to meet and network with confidence and that was what I needed. If it weren’t for Desiree handing me the blueprint for my attire (just days before my event) I fear this story’s ending would have been “out-of-fashion.
