I have 23 years of baseball experience. After my time in the minor leagues I became an Academy Specialist and then the Operations Site Director of the Phillies Baseball Academy. I have experience coaching from little league to high school level baseball. I have devoted my time to teaching players of all ages the right way to train, practice and play baseball. Complete Baseball Instruction is designed to address all aspects of the game in a way that meets the personal learning styles of each individual player. I believe that fun and safety come first but I offer a variety of programs and products for the competitive player.

"Dave Sloan has been detrimental in improving both my sons' game. Their pitching skills improved very much over a period of a couple of weeks. Dave is very good at figuring out each individual player and has the knack of bringing the best out of them. He stresses good form over everything and with his calm disposition, is able, to get their focus. Dave's teaching is an all-around approach, which I believe, is the winning formula for an athlete. "

"Coach Dave was an excellent teacher! Tyler has made tremendous progress since working with Dave! Tyler's confidence soared with Coach Dave's encouragement and guidance. My father in law would often take Tyler to the baseball clinic! He remarked several times that Tyler has grown as a player because of coach dave's patience! " My son has been a student of Dave's for several years, going back to his counselor days
with the Phillies Baseball Academy. We continue to use Dave's services because of the
sustained success my son has had since working with him. From little league to Babe
Ruth and AAU baseball as a teenager, my son developed both his mental as well as
physical skills under his guidance. Under Dave's coaching, my son has improved his
pitching mechanics and his batting fundamentals. He also has developed strong
fielding mechanics as well. But probably the most important part of his development has

"Dave is a tremendous coach and inspiration to the kids he teaches. My son has been coached by Dave for 2 seasons now and many people just can not believe this is the same kid. He has improved tremendously in all areas of play. My son had not played ball until until a few years ago so he was behind many kids his age in skill. He really wanted to play travel ball and 2 years ago he started on the bottom of the stats for the team, to last year being one of the kids at the top of the stats.
Dave taught my son how to read the pitcher, what to do in the pitch count, when to steal.
He also provided him with drills for his third base position. Dave provided him with so much confidence that he thrived in nail biting situations. He showed him many wonderful drills for his swing and followed that up with the visual from the camera. The kids can easily make corrections when they see what they look like. He has done the same thing for his pitching.
This is now his favorite sport and he continues to make tremendous strides forward. Thank you Dave!!!

"Dave is a great teacher with the kids. My two sons have been in a Winter Clinic with him, focusing on tee work, batting and pitching, and there has been great improvement since they have been working with him. He has shown them tremendous drills that they can bring home and love to practice. He makes the game fun without taking away the learning portion of each session. He's a great guy to have if you want to have fun, but, even moreso, augment your all-around baseball skills.
He does provide agility training to help with footspeed and quickness, as well as to break bad running habits. I never thought I'd see my son run a 7-minute mile, but that has been accomplished in just mere months with Dave.
He is also extremely flexible with scheduling, relates with the kids, and gets the most out of them. "
