I practice Gong Fu and Martial Qigong since 1989. I have a degree Master of Science in Oriental Medicine from Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine College in Berkeley, CA, where I am teaching now Medical Qigong and supervise Medical Qigong clinic. Outside of college I teach Zhong Yuan Qigong being certified instructor by Grandmaster Xu Mingtang and Gong Fu Long Hu Quan -- certified instructor by Grandmaster Essen Ismailov. I also teach workshops and seminars, where I include different self healing well known and some rare forms of Qigong: Ba Duan Jin, Yi Jin Jing, Liu Zi Jue, Yi Jing Qigong, Guigen Qigong (which are dynamic and static types of Qigong, meditations and healing sounds).
You can find more up to date information about classes and seminars I am teaching on my web page:

"The instructor is thorougly dedicated to the discipline that he teaches. He sets a thoughtful, serious tone to the class. He tries to bridge the eastern knowledge with western understanding. He is patient, respectful and attentive to the needs of beginning students. He is gifted at demonstrating qigong techniques. He is clearly able to apply qigong for bettering students' general health and chronic conditions. I highly recommend him for students wanting a serious class."

"I recommend Vadim's classes to anyone who is looking for a real chance to gain mastery in Qigong. Vadim provides a distillation of years of Qigong practice in simple, direct explanations using information gathered for thousands of years. His classes includes valuable information on self healing and rejuvenation practices as well as overall strengthening and skill. "

"I've been taking qigong with Vadim for a couple of months -- this is my first exposure to it -- and enjoying it very much. I recommend him as a teacher, able to both present the movements and explain their different levels of value. It leaves me with a great feeling of well-being."

"I met Vadim Derevyanko while he was teaching Qigong academically at the Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine College (AIMC) of which I am currently a student. He was also our clinic supervisor at the school's student Medical Qigong Clinic.
I find that ZY Qigong as taught by Vadim is very accessible to the public, and easy to pick up. I have experience with several styles of Qigong, and find that ZY Qigong is very effective as far the time and effort you put in vs. the initial results manifesting in your physical body i.e. (improved health, energy, etc). The goals for the exercises are clear and easy to learn, so you determine how deeply you want to take the intensity of each.
This is one of the more shamanistic styles that I've encounter, and I find it refreshing that so much is taught about the theory of system on the beginner level. The daoist meditations alone (such as refining Qi, breathing through the points, micro-cosmic orbit etc), are worth the price of the class.
In addition to studying with Vadim, I have studied with Larry Wong and Suzanne Friedman. I am also Certified Medical Qigong Practitioner through Dr. Suzanne's Medical Qigong Therapy program. As a broke grad student, I find that Vadim's teachings are a viable way for me to continue my training as a MQ practitioner, without bankrupting me.
