With a full-time job, I often do not have time to practice as much as I should but Charlie is always understanding and patient. We progress through lessons at a comfortable speed and try to find workable solutions for any troublesome areas encountered as the lessons get more advanced. Charlie is great at providing tips and tricks to make a challenging assignment less daunting. I enjoy the atmosphere of the studio and Charlie’s relaxed style of teaching.   "Charlie is an excellent drum teacher. He is skilled, experienced, and versatile. We mostly learn rock drums, but he is well rounded in other genres (and instruments) when I want to learn stuff outside of my comfort zone. I love how I can take my favorite drum songs in, and he will write the whole thing out, including every fill and solo.
  
  I recommended taking lessons at his studio, as he has a great two drum kit setup so you can watch him play as you are trying to learn. He is a kind and passionate person; the kind of teacher you want to hang out with after the lesson is over! "
