Carmen teaches Middle Eastern Dance with a strong focus on understanding the rhythms commonly found in Middle Eastern music. She offers physical understanding of the dance, as well as cultural and historical background.
Her classes range three levels of instruction and a student troupe class. Each level concentrates on important aspects of the dance, including (but not limited to) technique, and improvisation.

"As a dancer Carmen brings a beauty and style to the art of belly dancing that cannot be explained in words. As a teacher Carmen is thorough and thoughtful and takes the extra step with her students. Her curriculum is solid so the student can advance at their own unique pace in various styles of the art. Carmen teaches veil, and sword use in addition to other accessories of the dance. If she were still located in Ohio I would still be her student."
