  "Well, I guess you all need to know about Bev's teaching skills, especially if you're interested in something a little different. The first time I ever saw a chainmaille piece was one of Bev's. It was a 4 in 1 European weave and I absolutely had to have one for myself. I figured out the best way to do that was by learning how to make it myself. I called and booked a class with Bev (not really knowing what I was getting myself into). Immediatly she informed me that I had not quite picked the easiest weave for my first project, but agreed to give it a whirl. She showed me other examples of weaves she had brought along with her, all of which were incredibly beautiful. I was practically foaming at the mouth. I had to learn them all, NOW! Slow down, I thought, one project at a time. I had a little trouble with the tools at first, but soon started getting the hang of it, (so I thought). Next thing I knew Bev was explaining how these rings are all related to each other and the actual pattern. It started to make sense, sort of. Anyway I listened and took my half done project home, having taken too long for me to learn in the two hrs alotted. (My fault). I continued to work on it once I got home and just couldn't figure it out. I was very frustrated and put it down. A few hrs later I picked it up again. I really took a good look at it and started going over in my mind what she had said and done. It all started to make sense. She had gotten through to me and it just became so clear now. I finished the bracelet that night! I was so proud of myself. Anyway, I hope I haven't bored you to death, that certainly was not my intent. Bev is an excellent teacher, she's patient and determined. She is truly a great choice, especially if it's your first chainmaille project. You will learn with Bev! I haven't learned how to make them all, YET, but I have learned a number of other weaves as well and I am totally addicted. Good luck, and have fun....Priscilla "
