Aaron Asghari

At the age of 14, Aaron attended an Iron Maiden concert and was inspired to pick up a guitar. He began taking lessons and quickly found a love for the instrument. As a senior in High school Aaron began to expand on his heavy metal background and was part of the Del Campo High School Jazz Band. In 2004 Aaron began playing lead guitar for the local metal band Necromancer. He recorded an EP and played a number of gigs with them before they disbanded. At the age of 20 Aaron moved to Hollywood to attend the world renowned Musician’s Institute G.I.T. program. There he had the opportunity to study with the likes of Jimmy Wyble, Jeff Young, Scott Henderson, and Ross Bolton in many different styles. Aaron graduated from M.I. in 2008 and moved back to Sacramento and began teaching. Currently he performs in the cover band One Sharp Mind playing venues and festivals all over Northern California.
